Description

This limited release combines Isle of Raasay’s lightly peated spirit with maturation in ex-Frazitta Marsala Vergine casks, bringing Sicilian wine character to modern Hebridean whisky. Bottled at 50.5% ABV, it offers a distinctive balance of fruit, sweetness and smoke.

Grape must and Parma violet aromas open into baked apple, apricot, ginger, maple syrup and sweet pear. A balsamic edge adds complexity before a long finish of smoked toffee and lingering peat.
